How can I configure email accounts with Outlook?

Open Outlook 2010 > File > Add Account 

  1. Click checkbox :“Manually configure server settings or additional server types” 
  2. Select Internet E-mail
  3. User info: Enter your name and email account created (user@example.com)
  4. Select POP3 or IMAP:

 

POP 3: 

Incoming mail server: Server where your domain is hosted (here) 

Port: 995 

 

Check “This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)”  

Check “Require logon Using Secure Password Authentication” 

 

Outgoing mail server: Server where your domain is hosted (here) 

Port: 465 (587 alternative) 

Encryption method: SSL/TLS 

Check “Require logon Using Secure Password Authentication” 

 

 

IMAP: 

Incoming mail server: Server where your domain is hosted (here) 

Port: 993 

Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL/TLS 

Check “Require logon Using Secure Password Authentication” 

 

Outgoing mail server: Server where your domain is hosted (here) 

Port: 465 (587 alternative) 

 

Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL/TLS 

Check “Require logon Using Secure Password Authentication” 

 

  1. Next

7.Input password 

  1. Save

 

NOTE: Replace example.com for your domain name and extension. 

*You can use the instructions above for any version of Outlook including Outlook 365. However, to make use of Office 365’s other online features, you would need to add the corresponding records on your domain’s zone to set up your service correctly.
